Events & festivals
Nobody leaves early
because their phone died.
Portable charging stations for festivals, conferences, concerts and activations. We deliver, install and collect. Guests scan a code, take a power bank, and carry on — no cable wall, no phones behind a counter, no volunteer minding a charging table.
Two ways to run it
The difference is simply who pays for the charge — you, or the guest.
Amenity
You cover it, guests charge free
A flat day rate for the event. Attendees take a power bank at no charge to them. Works when charging is part of the hospitality — sponsor activations, conferences, private events, anywhere a queue at a wall socket looks bad.
Conferences · Sponsor activations · Private and corporate events
Concession
Guests pay, you pay less
A reduced day rate because rentals cover the rest. Attendees pay for what they use. Works at scale, where a large crowd over a long day makes the rental volume do the heavy lifting.
Festivals · Race weekends · Multi-day fairs · Large public events
What comes with it
- ·Delivery, setup and collection — we bring it, place it and take it away
- ·Power banks with built-in cables, so nobody needs to bring their own
- ·Screen time on the larger units for your own schedule, map or sponsor
- ·Someone reachable for the duration of the event, not a ticket queue
What organisers ask
How far ahead do you need to know?
The earlier the better, but the real constraint is hardware availability on your dates rather than lead time in the abstract. Send the dates and we will tell you straight away whether we can cover them.
What does it cost?
A flat day rate that depends on the size of the station, how many you need and how long the event runs — and it is lower in concession mode, where rentals offset it. We quote against your actual event rather than publishing a rate card that would be wrong for most of them.
Do you need power or wifi at each spot?
A standard outlet, yes. Wifi, no — the stations connect over their own cellular link, which matters at outdoor and temporary sites where event wifi is usually saturated.
Can we brand them?
The larger stations carry a screen you can run your own content on — schedule, site map, sponsor loops. Physical wrapping is possible with enough notice; ask early.
What happens if a guest walks off with a power bank?
The rental is capped and the card on file is charged, so it is covered and it does not land on you. In amenity mode we agree how that is handled up front rather than surprising you afterwards.
Can guests return them anywhere?
Yes — to any station in the Ampz network, not only the one they took it from. At a large site that matters, because it means someone leaving by a different gate is not carrying your hardware home.
Do you only do Dallas?
Dallas–Fort Worth is where we are strongest today and where logistics are simplest. We travel for the right event — tell us where and when, and we will give you an honest answer rather than a maybe.

Tell us about the event
Dates, location and rough headcount are enough to quote against. Put them in the message box and we will come back within one business day.
